The content of this course is the same as BC 5701 Lead Implementer. In this 10-day course, there is more time per topic and room to address your implementation challenges. During the programme, you will apply the implementation steps in your own organisation and receive feedback and tips. This course is therefore ideal for professionals who will be leading the implementation of BC 5701 in their own organisation.

Depending on the organisational context, the development of GDPR compliance may present more challenges than the correct application of the BC 5701. Consider, for example, interpersonal and communication skills, project management, change management, legal interpretation of the GDPR, and so on. While these topics are touched upon, they are not covered in depth.

Once you have attended the training, you will be invited to attend the expert sessions, which are held 1-2 times a year. These sessions discuss the latest developments in the BC 5701 and share insights from implementation processes and certification audits. This will keep you up to date and maintain the value of the training course.

A sound theoretical and practical knowledge of the GDPR is essential for this training. In addition, knowledge and/or experience in organisational studies, project management and information security will contribute to the effectiveness of the training.

If you have a lot of experience in implementing certification standards, then the shorter and more theoretical ‘Lead Implementer’ version of this programme is probably a better choice for you.
This course has two examination formats, an implementation portfolio or a written exam.
If you are able to successfully complete the implementation of BC 5701 during the course, you will receive the ‘BC 5701 Lead Implementer’ certificate based on your implementation portfolio and, if you wish, you will be added to the ‘BC 5701 Professionals register’ of Brand Compliance and Piims Academy.
If circumstances prevent you from completing the BC 5701 implementation within the training period, you will be given the opportunity to complete the training by taking the BC 5701 Lead Implementer written exam. If you pass this exam, you will also receive the ‘BC 5701 Lead Implement’ certificate from Piims Academy and, if you wish, you will be added to the ‘BC 5701 Professionals register’ of Brand Compliance and Piims Academy.
We assume you have studied Certification Standard BC 5701 prior to the first day of classes. Take into account a study load of 8 – 12 hours.
In between the training days there will be intervision sessions which you will plan together. Allow about 4 hours per month.
The most important thing is that during the training you work within your own organisation to implement BC 5701. Although it is difficult to classify this as a study load, you should take into account that during the training you will spend an average of 2-3 days a week supervising the implementation in your organisation. Of course, the amount of time required will depend on your own experience, the support you receive from your organisation and the size and complexity of the Target of Evaluation.
This course takes place with a minimum of 8 participants. The maximum number of participants is 12, after which you can join the waiting list.
