Last year, after more than five years of development, we were able to report the approval of the BC 5701:2023, by the Dutch Supervisory Authority, as the first official Dutch GDPR certification mechanism. Now, more than a year later, the BC 5701:2024 has been approved by the EDPB as an official European Data Protection Seal. It allows all organisations in the EEA to show their ‘trustworthiness’ to the world.
